Sass & Bide Heads To New York Fashion Week

AUSTRALIAN label Sass & Bide is moving its Fashion Week show from London to New York. The move comes as part of an American focus this season as the duo behind the label - Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton - prepare to open their first American store, in New York's SoHo, this autumn. But that doesn't meant that they have forgotten their adopted home.
"Ahead of our New York store opening later this year we are presenting our spring/summer 2014 collection during New York Fashion Week," Clarke told us this morning. "But London will always remain as our heartland - and we will be back!"
The last time that the brand showed in the Big Apple was six years ago, around the time that Sex & The City helped propel them into the general fashion consciousness, after Sarah Jessica Parker bumped into them on a New York street.
They have also enlisted New York stylist - and Alexander Wang muse - Vanessa Traina to style their NY return, so we look forward to seeing the show. Good luck ladies, but hurry back.
